Circa Survive - This Changes Everything

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/1984339
Verse 1
Make your move, obvious humor
Desperate and respiratory plight
Always on, dressed to impress
I'll be the last one to find out why

Chorus 1
Time takes its toll on us (This changes everything)
I'd be a liar if I (Denied you at all)
Oh, now that I know
This changes everything

Verse 2
I've been trading ideas with intriguing men, and I
(Over and over again)
I perceive an honest solution to all of your problems

Chorus 2
Time takes its toll on us (This changes everything)
I'd be a liar if I (Denied you at all)
Oh, now that I know
This changes everything
Oh, now that I know
Oh, now that I know

Refrain
They move from home
I promise to write, I promise
They move from home
There's no gift without a price
We move from home
I promise to write, I promise

Bridge
And the amplifier screams out loud for the last time
Wave your hands at the audience as you sink on in
Last chance to hide, you need desperately so, find me, so, so

Verse 3
Motion gives up on you in the end
I'll try my best to be home by then
You'll see the grace we had
You'll never have
You'll never have

Chorus 3
I'm going home, but my own way
Going home, but my own
I'm going home, but my own way
Going home, but my own

Outro
I would really love if you'd sit him down
I would really love if you'd pull this thread
I would really love if you'd sit him down
I would really love if you'd pull this thread

Biography

edit bio
Circa Survive is a progressive-rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that formed in 2004.

Members include Anthony Green on lead vocals, Brendan Ekstrom on guitars, Colin Frangicetto on guitars and backing vocals, Nick Beard on bass guitar and backing vocals, and Steve Clifford drumming for the band.

After releasing The Inuit Sessions in early 2005, the band followed up later in the year with their first major release, Juturna followed by five more full-length EPs. Circa has been fairly consistent musically, which has to do with the solidarity of their line-up.
