Treis - Echoes
Echoes, reflections of you stuck in my mind
Pieces of you I wanna find
Dancing all alone with someone else tonight
Echoes, the thoughts you used to put in my head ❲?❳
And every little thing that you said
Dancing all alone with someone else instead
★ Pre-Chorus ★
You're on my mind
Just for a moment (just for a moment)
I'll try to fight it (I'll try to fight it)
Knowing I'll lose again
I still hear your
Sounds in the silence (sounds in the silence)
I try to disguise it (try to disguise it)
Knowing I'll lose again
★ Chorus ★
Hello, hello
Is anybody out there
Or is it just echoеs?
Hello, hello (hello)
Is anybody out thеre
Or is it just echoes?
★ Verse 2 ★
Echoes, the sounds of talking loudly alone
The promises you made long ago
And every little thing I should've known
Echoes of you in everyone that I meet
Of all the I wish you could be
Dancing all alone with no one else but me
★ Pre-Chorus ★
You're on my mind
Just for a moment (just for a moment)
I'll try to fight it (I'll try to fight it)
Knowing I'll lose again
I still hear your
Sounds in the silence
I try to disguise it
Knowing I'll lose again
★ Chorus ★
Hello, hello (hello)
Is anybody out there
Or is it just echoes?
Hello, hello (hello)
Is anybody out there
Or is it just echoes?
Hello, hello
Is anybody out there —

Biography
Treis' style varies greatly from album to album. In their debut project “HOUSES,” the singer takes a quiet, instrumentally bare, and lyrically heavy take on nostalgia, the naivety of childhood, and the concept of what makes a House a home. Meanwhile, their follow up project, “Homesick” moves towards a more electronic pop sound, and focuses more on metaphor (rather than the storyteller writing featured on the first album) to tell their story. In 2020, Treis revealed the singles “Familiar Strangers,” “The Morning After,” “Midnight Wine,” and “No Compromise,” for their third LP “Something Like Home,” which revealed a new sound of heady, cerebral, “Suburban Funk” inspired by Nu-Disco and Synthwave artists of the last four decades, mixed with the introspective, narrative lyrical styling of their early works.
The band consists of members Treis Alexander (Singer, and instrumentalist), Alex Canon (Bassist), and Rafael Castro (Drums).
