PART I:

Verse 1
Yeah, yeah
Feel like it’s 2015
Boutta pull up, boutta slide
Better be ready to die
Keeping the peace, I’mma ride up
Bit in assume on my side
I’m at that door throwing five
Looking alive, but bitch I’m tweaking
Came in with some animals like Panda, Ave and Deacon
Having me a time, but ain’t no rhyme and ain’t no reason
This all superficial, this an act I tend to peak in
Know a couple spots that’s worth a shot to try and peek in
Life on beneficial, so you know I try and reap it
This could be forever, not a moment, so let’s seize it
Gotta spend some time away from airing out my grievance
Let it out
Now I try to breathe in

Pre-verse
Let go, better
Oh fuck
Step away, gotta
Night life
Hold me down
Night life
Hold me down
Night life
Hold me down
Night life
Hold me down
PART II:

Verse 2
Oh my god, oh yeah
Can’t hear what you’re sayin
Fill one up for me
For up, up and away
Get full what I paid
Need no other way
Get full what I paid
Ain’t that complicate (yeah)
Here it come (here it come)
Creepin’ up, that pessimist
I feel you pushing me away, feel like exodus
I’m thinking how I should’ve stayed, now I’m stuck in it
It’s visions going through my brain, so I run in it

Chorus
Jump into a dark room
Hop in for the fun soon
Love the ones around you
Fun until the sun soon
Fall into a drug groove
Losing who you are, so
Look for who you want to
Fuck until the dark blue
Try to rub it off but
Hoping that a spark grew
Never got a call, gloom
Flashing with withdrawals soon
Meddle that with bar stool
Sip until your heart grew
Knowing this won’t save you
Brooklyn is your cauldron

Verse 3
The floor on wet
How hot it gets
I’m finally feeling
The side effects
In love again
So broken in
I felt the cold
In summer’s air
Okay, huh
Yelling out into the galaxy
I’m seeing visions of the future from a monolith
And now my moment getting smaller, gon’ empower it, huh
Guess I’m getting turnt up
We outside, we back up

Chorus
Jump into a dark room
Hop in for the fun soon
Love the ones around you
Fun until the sun soon (oh my god)
Fall into a drug groove
Losing who you are, so
Look for who you want to
Fuck until the dark blue (yeah heh heh)
Try to rub it off but
Hoping that a spark grew
Never got a call, gloom
Flashing with withdrawals soon
Meddle that with bar stool
Sip until your heart grew
Knowing this won’t save you
Brooklyn is your call

Verse 4
In this world called not so bad
It takes a basement show to show you
Just how all alone it gets
You’re not involved
And your friends don’t really care
You watch them grow apart
New faces smiling from afar
I sit, put up the act that it’s fun

Biography

edit bio
Blending the nuances of contemporary hip hop and popular music with sprinkles of indie influence, introspection, psychedelia, contemplation, and catharsis, Nine Seven Pta is the solo effort of Westchester, New York native of Justin Ciuzio, rapper, singer / songwriter and producer.

The alias “Nine Seven Pta” alludes to director Paul Thomas Anderson, a filmmaker Justin has looked up to since he first found his film “Boogie Nights”. Distracting himself from an immense state of depression feeling like there was no reason for his existence, he watched intricately at the utilization of style, cinematography, soundtrack, editing, and everything. The film made him realize that life would be worth living granted he was able to craft his vision, much alike Paul Thomas Anderson did in 1997. Justin claims that if his alias didn’t allude to such a monumental moment in his life, that none of this would feel right.

Nine Seven Pta is the accumulation of the sounds Justin grew up with, and how he channels them into a distinct sound that he hopes comes off as “one of a kind”. The sound of Nine Seven Pta is eclectic, yet cohesive. Whether he brings the listener through an omniscient self analysis of his state of being (channeling major influences such as Kid Cudi, Kanye West, and Frank Ocean while doing so), compares the notion of unrequited love to a flower no longer able to see the sun deterring it’s ability to blossom in melodies reminiscent of contemporary indie rock, or boasts wordplay and similes over soul samples, each track signifies that you have just entered into the mind of Justin.

The music of Nine Seven Pta conveys a sort of intimacy between the listener and the songwriter; with each song you listen to, you become more and more familiar with the person he is. And hopefully within those moments, you find yourself locked into Nine Seven Pta’s world.
