Cristian Samuel Francisco Gomez (b. November 2, 2005), professionally known as Lonely Cortell, is an independent underground rapper/artist from Monroe, Wisconsin, best known for songs such as “see u never', "enemy”, “Burning Roses” “So Far Gone”, and “drippin like a faucet”.

Lonely Cortell started off his career as an artist in 2019 under the name Lil Vortex. He released his first song “Times Up”, an 11 track project titled XI, as well as a bunch of other singles and collaborations with artists such as Lil Rose (now known as RFTB Rose) and Lil Oof (now known as LandozWorld).
In 2020 he entered the new year as LXI Vortex, getting rid of the “Lil” moniker in exchange for something more original. As LXI Vortex, he went on to release three solo EP’s, two collaborative projects with his collective DARK SINS and his debut album Dear Earth, Fuck U
in 2023 he changed his name once again, entering the new year as Lonely Cortell and released his highly anticipated sophomore album nothings different
