PhalaiR - Home for good

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/1995747
I see my city skyline when the plane lands
I feel the past wash over my black soapy hands
I smell my grandma's cigarettes when she pulls me in
I hear my momma's conversations with her work friends
I think my homies going through it they'll do what they can

I know i can't be overbearing just to be a friend
I create every illusion and the greatest plan
I hope to seek never to judge only to understand
I'm keeping all my feelings buried in these instruments
I pray that all of my eminencе will keep my heart content

I want to be thе one they call when the flood comes in
And i become the blockade to sink the rivalship
I tripped so many times it's hard for me to walk now
I flipped on her so much it's hard to talk now

I stiff-armed things worldly i'm for god now
I truly always was and now
I'm home for good, home for good
Now i'm home for good
Now i'm home for good

Yeah, but look
Something happened in o-land i can't describe to you
A lot of bad traits i left behind in high school
Thoughts and ideas, i left my best peers
I went my own route, i let my heart steer
This is not a sob story, this a mob story
I'll show you how my fam stepped up and survived for me
My momma qb, my dad a mc

So since the talent passed to me then its a td
My grandfather so proud of me almost made me cry
I feel better in his merch than i do mine
My grandmothers had me praying in my worst times

Too afraid to ask for help, it's all because of pride
And i swear i feel so grateful
I look up in that mirror and i love what i see
Not paralyzed by my thoughts i'm finally feeling complete

Who knew that moving out of state would stick my fears in his teeth
Because i'm home for good
And now i'm home for good
And now i'm loved for good

Now i'm home for good
Yeah
Now i'm home for good
Now i'm loved for good
