Ella Eyre - Ain't No Love That Blind

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/2000567
Verse 1
Kamikaze
Kind that cut deep
Hit the concrete, when your phone went–
Renegade ways, don't be shy, babe
Say it with a straight face, you should come clean
Damn, we were good, we were great
What a waste of a perfectly painted out dream

Pre-Chorus
Kamikaze
Yeah, you got me
Kinda shocked me
But

Chorus
Ain’t no love that blind
Na, na, na na na na
Na, na, na na na na
Ain't no love that blind
Na, na, na na na na
Na, na, na na na na
Woah, I could close my eyes
Na, na, na na na na
Na, na, na na na na
But ain't no love that blind
Na, na, na na na na
Na, na, na na na na

Verse 2
Well done for unleashing the beast, clap clap
I’m a king going Kong when you stab me in the back
When I'm pressed, yellow dress and a baseball bat
Yes, it gets like that
Yes, it gets like that
Oh, don't get a warning
Oh damn, to think I was falling

Pre-Chorus
Kamikaze
Yeah, you got me
Kinda shocked me
But

Chorus
Ain't no love that blind
Na, na, na na na na
Na, na, na na na na
Ain't no love that blind
Na, na, na na na na
Na, na, na na na na
I could close my eyes
Na, na, na na na na
Na, na, na na na na
But ain't no love that blind, no
Na, na, na na na na
Na, na, na na na na

Bridge
Oh, you think I'm a fool?
Think my backbone jelly
Ain't no love that blind
Yeah, I’m talking to you
With your palms all sweaty
No gas, more light
Your wrongs ain’t right
You thought I'd turn my eye

Chorus
Ain’t no love that blind
Na, na, na na na na
Na, na, na na na na
Yeah, ain't no love that blind
Na, na, na na na na
Na, na, na na na na
Oh, I could close my eyes
Na, na, na na na na
Na, na, na na na na
But ain't no love that blind, no
Na, na, na na na na
Na, na, na na na na

Combining neo-soul, pop, and R&B in one powerful, emphatic blend, British singer-songwriter Ella Eyre, born Ella McMahon, has been making recent waves with chart-impacting EDM hits and power anthems alike. Grown through the BRIT School system (like fellow artists Adele and Jessie J), Eyre first rose to prominence in 2012 via a feature on Bastille’s TLC/The xx mashup, titled “No Angels”. Mid-2013, she scored her first chart entry with up and coming drum and bass band Rudimental. Their collaboration, mammoth hit “Waiting All Night”, topped the UK Singles Chart and brought the artists a BRIT award for Single of the Year.

Now on the map, Eyre expanded her discography, featuring on tracks from both Naughty Boy and Tinie Tempah. Her first EP, Deeper, was released in late 2013 and her debut album, Feline, came a year and a half later. Ranging from Haddaway covers to breakup anthems to emotional questionnaires, the tracks on these works have pioneered Eyre’s sound and attracted a significant fanbase, dubbed “Eyreheads”.

Equipped with a raspy, honest voice combined with visceral emotion, Ella Eyre continues to gain further traction with the public eye and the music spectrum. One can only wonder what she will do next.
