Biography
O músico, nascido num bairro social do Porto, não encontra uma prateleira onde possa ser encaixado. Essa fusão de géneros, que vai do rap ao reggae, passando pelo fado, ilustra o trabalho já editado em quatro álbuns, desde Rude Bwoy Stand (2007), Rude EP (2009), Monstro EP (2011) até S.A.C.A.N.A. (2013).
Justifica esta “mistura” de géneros musicais numa entrevista à Visão em 2016 onde afirma que:
“Nasci e cresci a ouvir de tudo. Fado, desde logo, porque o meu pai era fadista, depois rock, porque era o que o meu irmão ouvia, e depois um pouco de tudo porque eu gosto de música independentemente do género. (…) Infelizmente, em Portugal vive-se muito das aparências e há muita gente a deixar de lado a música em que acredita para fazer aquilo que lhes dizem que é o que está a dar”.
Origem do nome
Bezegol é uma expressão de calão para designar o haxixe, que lhe ficou como alcunha e mais tarde como nome artístico.
