Amira Elfeky - Remains of Us
And everything that we’ll never be
And I pray
Your eyes stay fixed on me
I am lost in your reverie
I’d sail away
To wherever you are
Baby nowhere’s too far for love
We’ll be okay
When it’s all up in flames
I’ll hold on to remains of us
You came to me in my dream
And whispered so tenderly
(You’re everything that I want)
You said you hate who you are
I only hate who I’m not
So we’ll just lay herе to rot
I’d sail away
To wherever you arе you
Baby nowhere’s too far for love
We’ll be okay
When it’s all up in flames
I’ll hold on to remains of us
You are what you surrender to
If you want me then I want you
You are what you surrender to
If you want me then I want you

Amira Elfeky
Biography
Amira, a Connecticut native, met producer/multi-instrumentalist, Brandon Iljas in 2017 by posting a “drummer wanted” ad. Together, they have crafted several tracks in Brandon’s DIY bedroom studio in San Francisco. Their production style combines the synth and guitar tones of lo-fi bedroom pop with modern vocals and boom bap style drums.
Having dealt with anxiety and depression for most of her life, Amira sought solace in music. Her introspective tendency guides her song writing which strikes a balance between intimate verses and infectiously melodic choruses. In each song, she takes you on a journey through her mental state, the balance of chaos and serenity.
