Boonie Mayfield - Noo Breed, Pt. 2
Ugh
Noo Breed
Noo Breed
Ugh, Noo Breed
Ugh
★ Verse ★
I'd be lying if I said I'm feeling most of you
I guess to be politically correct is what you supposed to do
But I don't like the politics
I see through all the glitz
I'm outshining all diamonds
Y'all don't want me close to you
Unless you want the sunshine in my mind exposing you
In front of all the superficial groupie hoes you do
That bad bitch probably wouldn't give the time of day
If y'all weren't mad rich
That and being famous made the lamest above average
Bitch, quit frontin'
Bet you wanna hit the skip button, heh
Well go head, hoe
This is for the lyric connoisseurs
At the cypher by the sewers underground
Showing love before anybody knew us
I'mma do this for them
Though it's hard dealin' with the fact
Some turn their back once the masses start feeling it
But that's human nature once you start doing major shit
Old fans treat you like you in a new relationship
'Cause they had a taste of it way before everybody else
So they want it to themselves and just hate if it
Sells really well and gets plays like Adele
I can smell the success, many ways I can tell
That the stars are aligned out in space
I'mma trail blaze a spliff with my friends, imagine a Benz
As I make the wheels Screech like I'm Saved By The Bell
Hell I might cop it, but it depends on the profit
I can turn from the stems I exported out of Logic
Ugh, name another rapper you know in the whole profession
Who can flow, play the bass, drums and a chord progression
On a vintage keyboard, rap game got me bored
But I'm so hip-hop check the stats I even b-boy’d
With my Filipino niggas, I Tarantino niggas
Going Django in a Kangol when I'd uprock
To "The Mexican" by Babe Ruth like “What the Bloodclot”
Ugh, check the method for the record
I perfected this, the second it's uploaded
I bet legends get the messages and quote it
You can tell I'm more devoted than you reckless
Wack niggas with nothing to go with but a necklace
Fool's gold rich, don't give a fuck how many units you sold bitch
Hah, let that shit breathe
Matter fact I'm done for now, let that shit leave
I'm trying to chill this Christmas Eve, ugh
★ Outro ★
Yeah
Leroy Green of the B-boy Scene, ha ha
La, la, la, la, la, la
Ugh
Noo Breed, ha ha

Boonie Mayfield
Biography
Throughout 2007-2010, Boon Doc was known for his classic boom-bap and neo-soul beats as well as his highly revered sample-chopping skills that were praised by the likes of Ski Beatz and Warren G. But after his studio was robbed of almost all of his equipment, Boonie re-emerged as a multi-instrumentalist who no longer depended on samples. Fully composing his own music, Boonie’s ever-evolving style encompasses many genres including funk, soul, jazz, blues, progressive rock and cinema along with his roots in hip-hop. And no matter how far his sound steers, the influences of A Tribe Called Quest, OutKast, J Dilla, D’Angelo and many other classic hip-hop and neo-soul legends can be traced within the eclectic realm of Boonie Mayfield.
While internationally known as a music producer, Boonie Mayfield is far from “just” anything and has proven himself to be an extremely capable and seasoned emcee, recording artist, songwriter, dancer, video producer and actor.
