LC Camel Jr., known professionally as Lucki, was born on May 30, 1996, in Chicago, Illinois. He is an American rapper and record producer who first gained recognition in 2013 with the release of his debut project, Alternative Trap. Lucki initially went by the moniker Lucki Eck$, but in January 2016, he announced a name change coinciding with the release of his single Deja Vu. Lucki explained that he felt the Eck$ name was "childish" and that he had outgrown it.

Throughout his career, Lucki has developed a unique sound and style that sets him apart in the rap scene. With introspective lyrics and laid-back delivery, he has garnered a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim for his music. In 2020, Lucki signed with Future's label Freebandz, further solidifying his presence in the industry.
