It's been a while
Ab dekhun jo peeche mudkar
Toh lagge kitna one sided raha ye safar
How excited was I
Jab kiya tha meine ye sab shuru
Chahta tha mein jab maut aaye
Toh zindagi ho meri khwaahish ke bilkul hubahu
It was kinda funny
Safar ka pata nahi
Manzil li aankhon me saja
Kyun ki aesa na karne ki tab thi nahi koi wajah
Socha tha it just a piece of cake
But soon I realise throwing shades
Doesn't form ripples in lake
So this is a message to the old me
Who just wanted to be class apart
But never would have imagined the class would be that far apart
Who just wanted to capture the moments of appreciation
But reality was far beyond his imagination
Who knows, was it a lesson to learn
Or a challenge to overcome
All he wanted just people to acknowledge his worth
But at that time it sounded more like an absurd
Usse pata nahi tha kya hi karna hai
Wanted a smooth life
Kya ek secure career chunna hai
Kya woh samajhdaari wali baat kar raha hai
Ya bus risk lene se dar raha hai
Ek anti social guy
Na koi musical background
Na gaana gaana aaye
It doesn't matter how hard he try
Cheeze usse mess up hoti jaye
No one stand by
Anxiety andar hi andar khati jaye
He was giving his best
But nothing went flawless
Alag hi pressure
Alag hi stress
Woh bhi hone lagga tha restless
Thought why he was wasting his time on this trash
He doesn't even know, is that worth his efforts
Jab aap dil se kuch karna chahePhir bhi koi result na aaye
It's feels bad
Hustle ki kya hi keemat
Jab tak saath na ho uske success
He was losing the charm
Thinking, itna kharab toh wo tha nahi
Things that make him proud
Ab aesa kuch bacha nahi
But he stayed on the track
Despite of all the setbacks
In hope that it might add some value to his existence
If he kept being consistent
He really enjoyed the time
When he writes rhymes
But kya woh kar raha tha apne options confine
How one can truly express his self
While keeping his emotions in check
But more or less he still doubt his decision
So I want to inform him, all he did was totally worth it
Keh sakte ho isse ek future verdict
It totally changed his perspective
He is glad for what he has
As per facts, now he tries to understand every aspects
Now he don't feel insecure for what he lacks
He is paving his own way to be prefect
