Linney - Cool

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/436652
I don't do well with anger
I've said it all before
When I justify your reasons
I end up getting hurt
I needed something but
You're not that something I need

Started to eat at me 'til
Nothing would calm my nerves
I felt like I owed you something but
Now I know that I don't
Saying nothing's a choice to make
It's give and take

We play cool
It's alright
And no texts
Mean no fights
With no fuel
There's no fire
It burns out
We call liar
And I don't miss that
I don't miss that part
I don't miss that part

You call me when you're drowning
I didn't hesitate
And when it was my turn to fall
You chose to stay away
So we let this fade

I let you lay it on me
I bit my tongue in place
My teeth were knives
I fought them off but now
I'm starting to bleed
It's time to take care of me
Finally

We play cool
It's alright
And no texts
Mean no fights
With no fuel
There's no fire
It burns out
We call liar
And I don't miss that
I don't miss that part
I don't miss that part

We play cool
It's alright
And no texts
Mean no fights
With no fuel
There's no fire
It burns out
We call liar
And I don't miss that
I don't miss that part
I don't miss that part

We play cool
It's alright
And no texts
Mean no fights
With no fuel
There's no fire
It burns out
We call liar
And I don't miss that
I don't miss that part
I don't miss that part
