Dang-digga-dang-gi-dang-gi-dang-diggy
Dang-digga-dang-gi-dang-gi-dang-diggy
Dang-digga-dang-gi-dang-gi-dang-diggy
This is how the Queanbeyan boys get busy
Dang-digga-dang-gi-dang-gi-dang-diggy
Dang-digga-dang-gi-dang-gi-dang-diggy
Dang-digga-dang-gi-dang-gi-dang-diggy
This is how the Queanbeyan boys get busy

Verse 1
I was standin’ at the front of the fried chicken shop
Runnin’ amok, eleven o’clock, with a two-piece box (What up, Kingsleys?)
Saw a souped up Vectra, baby blue bonnet
The best friend from my childhood sittin’ on it (❲?❳, brother)
A stolen vehicle, sippin’ on somethin’ that’d make you see triple (Ooh!)
He said “Let’s ride”
I wanna speak with you, massage the black tar
In a hot car, you can call it deep tissue
Hoppеd in the passenger sidе to ride with him
Swooped off, hittin’ a side to side rhythm (Shh)
The streets of my hometown glowin’ like amber on black velvet
Let my eyes be the camera (Chee)
He said “You’re doin’ well, compadre
Every other weekend on the airport runway
Remember how we once shared the same horizon? (Remember that?)
Migrants dwellin’ on the flat block island?
Remember how we used to play armies?
Come home late and get beaten by our fathers?
Hard knuckles, better than the belt buckle
Twenty minutes later we were gettin’ our heads hustled (Good kid)
The whole world ahead of us
Both good with the words and et ceteras”
But when we jet the crossroads, I saw you turn white
I put pedal to the metal straight through a red light (Skrr)

Chorus
T-take out your eyes and see with your soul
Sti-still got a million long miles to go
Take out your eyes and see with your heart
Y-y-you will see me, even if we’re worlds apart

Verse 2
Then he said (Brrah)
“You were wearin’ slacks out at Grammar
I was packin’ packs at an ❲?❳ in the slammer
You were gettin’ dux while I was gettin’ fucked up
Buffed up, ❲?❳ up by the glamours
E pills, weed deals and cheap thrills
All that madness was only a prequel (Just the start)
I protected you against that shit (True)
When I said you had a future, I meant that shit”
Felt like my heart got peeled to the core
Product of a war and the things that I saw
I was given loaded dice, you were given somethin’ else
Don’t know what to make of life, way too proud to ask for help (Uh, uh)
Could tell that he was fumin’ (Fumin’)
Devoured by the fury, all consumin’ (Consumin’)
Silver smoke shredded from his nose
I froze stock still but the car kept movin’

Chorus
T-take out your eyes and see with your soul
Sti-still got a million long miles to go
T-t-take out your eyes and see with your heart
Y-y-you will see me, even if we’re worlds apart

Verse 3
All of a sudden, I felt the car lift off the ground
Risin’ in the cold air up towards clouds
Soon we were glidin’, hoverin’
Over a topography of lands that are sovereign, I saw
Lakes and dams, Jakes and the damned
Cash change hands for the souls of man
Politicians suckin’ on a devils dick
I saw Lady Liberty rubbin’ twenties on her tits
Gods of suburbia, murderers, clergymen
Immigrants indigenous floodin’ the Earth’s curvature
Friends like us in a flamenco of fate
It all amounted to an image of a single pained face
My friend spoke like he’d awoken
He said “Some things just can’t be spoken”
He said “Some chains just can’t be broken”
He said “Some things just can’t be chosen”
If everything is everything, nothing is nothing
A devil is an angel who once stood for something
A star for every one of our tears
Let’s ride ‘til we burn up in the atmosphere

Chorus
T-take out your eyes and see with your soul
Sti-still got a million long miles to go
T-t-take out your eyes and see with your heart
You will see me, even if we’re worlds apart

Outro
Worlds apart, worlds apart
