Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/455620
Chorus: Omar Musa, Jeswon
Ghost pepper chilli (Oof)
Hot jalapeño, hot jalapeño
Ghost pepper chilli
Hot like the sting of a scorpion
Ghost pepper chilli (Oof)
Hot jalapeño, hot jalapeño
Ghost pepper chilli
Hotter than hot, this summer it’s on

Verse 1: Omar Musa, Jeswon
Sriracha, sriracha-racha
It’s your homeboy ASAP Laksa
Su casa es mi casa
Gotta speak in our Bahasa
What you so mad for?
‘Cause your girl hittin’ up my Android?
I’m flamboyant, you bland, boy
Like Kaepernick, I won’t stand for it
Get up off of it, ❲?❳ pendejo
❲?❳ su de habanero
Banderos on the Banda Islands
With a bandolier I’m like a bandalero
Get you high like Con Air
No air con, melt face off
This Bombay, this Pompeii
We blowin’ up, but no bomb scare
Crossin’ your ‘i’s, dottin’ your ‘t’s
Splashes of curry and coconut cream
Choppin’ the chillies and chuck in the seeds
Hotter than hot, yeah, we got what you need
Temperature risin’ and drivin’ the ❲?❳
Pad kee Mao Tse-Tung when I’m on it
Don’t give a fuck like Kendrick Lamar
Swallowin’ fire and throwin’ up comets

Chorus: Omar Musa, Jeswon
Ghost pepper chilli (Oof)
Hot jalapeño, hot jalapeño
Ghost pepper chilli
Hot like the sting of a scorpion
Ghost pepper chilli (Oof)
Hot jalapeño, hot jalapeño
Ghost pepper chilli
Hotter than hot, this summer it’s on

Interlude: Omar Musa
Yeah, uh, hello? Is this Spice I Am? Yeah, it’s OBM here. Uh, I need a banquet for like fifty people. What spice level? Come on, mate. Atomic, brah

Verse 2: Jeswon, Omar Musa
I’m on another lev’ when I’m writin’ (True)
Nobel, winnin’ prizes (True)
Ghost chilli when I’m pepperin’ ‘em (Brrah)
Scoville level risin’
Better rock gloves, are you stupid? (Duh)
Don’t get this shit on your privates (Ooh!)
If you get this shit on your eyelids (Ooh!)
Then that’s a sure way to get blinded
Blood, now you’re walkin’ round with your guide dog (Ooh)
Can’t see the ❲?❳ that I’m on
It’s a UK ting, but the movement’s big
Aussie man, get your grime on
While most of y’all overlooked it
Buncha cooked cunts while we cooked it
I got a hot sauce for my ❲?❳
Get it chargrilled, that’s the good bits
Yo, OBM, how you feelin’?
Man these ghost bombs got me reelin’
It’s like an out of body experience
I can see myself from the ceilin’
Ayo, Jeswon, how you copin’?
When they said it’s hot, they not jokin’
Hallucinatin’, every move I’m makin’
Got me travellin’ in slow motion

Chorus: Omar Musa, Jeswon
Ghost pepper chilli (Oof)
Hot jalapeño, hot jalapeño
Ghost pepper chilli
Hot like the sting of a scorpion
Ghost pepper chilli (Oof)
Hot jalapeño, hot jalapeño
Ghost pepper chilli
Hotter than hot, this summer it’s on

Verse 3: Omar Musa, Jeswon
My tom-tom is a tom yum (Ay)
My snare drum is a rendang (Ya)
My sambal is a cymbal (Ya)
And it cut through like a Ginsu (Woo)
Bro, pass it off like a hot potato
Fuck Peter Pan, man, I’m Peter Peso
Try to tell me “Get a real job”
I’m a hot tamale, what the fuck would they know?
Skirtin’ off in a hot rod
And my bro here with me shotgun
And we hotbox while the cops watch
And the whole neighbourhood locked off
Toe tag for the reaper (Bah)
Code red for the heathens (Woah)
No pity, it’s a ghost chilli
Spit a fireball to the aether

Skit: Abdul Abdullah
Omar, my bro, what you and I gotta do, we gotta create a legacy. A legacy of cultural artifacts for that nine-year-old version of us in East Cannington, or Gilford, or Girrawheen, or Sunshine, or Frankston, fucking…Footscray, Auburn, Bankstown. That nine-year-old version of us who’s just figurin’ out that their scene is different. That their scene has a misfit, and that they’re perceived in a way that makes them somehow outsiders. We gotta show that somebody’s walked this path before and if we can reflect some of their experience, just a-a moment of that shared experience, then perhaps, man, they can claim some more ownership of the conversation. If we can show them that they’re not alone. They are the misfits, and we’re gonna take over the world
