Chandler Moore - Built for This

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/517851
Verse 1: Chandler Moore
There's no battle
That I'm not built for
I'm flesh and blood
But that's not my war
Mountain moments
Or valley seasons
Come whatever
Greater is within

Chorus: Chandler Moore
And I was built for this
From the start, it was finished
In this world I don't fit
But in Your arms I was made for this
So I'll survive
Worst than this
Oh, I was made in Your image
I was built for this

Verse 2: Bishop Brian Moore
Disappointment
Is meant for your good
Low times teach you
More than the high could
There's a lesson
In what You suffer
Oh, my child
Hold on longer
And you'll see

Chorus: Bishop Brian Moore
You were built for this
From the start, you were finished
In this world you don't fit
But in His arms you were made for this
I survived
Much more than this
You were madе in His image
You were built for this

Bridge: Chandler Moore & Bishop Brian Moore
You won't tеar me down, no, you won't, no
Ah you won't tear me down, no, you won't, no
'Cause I won't let you
You won't tear me down, no, you won't, no (I'm stronger than that, stronger, stronger)
You won't tear me down, no, you won't, no
'Cause I won't let you
You won't tear me down
Anxiety won't tear me down (Oh)
Depression won't tear me down, oh
You won't tear me down, no, you won't, no (Greater is He that is in you)
Yeah, I won't let you
You won't tear me down, no, you won't, no
I'm stronger than this
I'm better than this
You won't tear me down, no, you won't, no
'Cause now I see

Chorus: Chandler Moore
I was built for this
From the start, it was finished
In this world I don't fit
But in Your arms I was made for this
And I've survived
Much worse, worse than this
Oh my God, I was made in Your image
I was built for this

Often referred to as a modern day King David, Chandler is a worship leader, songwriter, and instrumentalist. Although his creative calling takes him around the globe, Chandler commits himself to leading the Production Department of his church, All Nations Worship Assembly-Atlanta.

Chandler is currently partnered with Maverick City—a collective of worshipers committed to deconstructing unspoken rules that exist in the CCM and Gospel world. Through this partnership, Chandler has penned and featured on songs like Most Beautiful and Refiner (featuring Steffany Gretzinger).

To date, both songs have garnered over 2 million streams a piece. Chandler’s pursuit is pretty simple : to live a life worthy of the call he’s been trusted with.
