daysormay - Everything is Changing
I’ve had quite enough of
Tear stained front steps and concrete fears that
Hold me back until I found my breath again
I preach out basement windows to
Cinder blocks and sidewalk pharaohs who
Hold their breath until I found it for them
‘Till then I’m following the sound
Pushing up on my way down
★ Chorus ★
Everything is changing
But I know I’ll be staying with you
Ah, oh
And everyone is leaving
All the dreams that I’ve been seeing are true
Ooh, ooh
★ Verse 2 ★
Cycles come and go but I’ll stick around
Rise and fall ‘till I’m in the ground
Moving with the sound
I’m told I’m better off just looking down
No risk of falling when you’re on the ground
But they don't hear the sound, oh
‘Cause I would rather fall than to not have jumped at all
★ Chorus ★
Everything is changing
But I know I’ll be staying with you
Ah, oh
And everyone is leaving
All the dreams that I’ve been seeing are true
Ooh, ooh
Everything is changing
I know I’ll be staying with you
Ah, oh
And everyone is leaving
All the dreams that I’ve been seeing are true
True
★ Outro ★
Don’t apologize for feeling
All of this will bring us meaning
It's about time it's about time
Don’t apologize for feeling
All of this will bring us meaning
It's about time it's about time, oh oh

Biography
With influences like Phoenix, Glass Animals and Portugal the Man., singer Aidan Andrews and twin brothers Carson and Nolan Bassett are carving out a unique space in modern alternative music and they have the online fanship to show it. It was a member of that dedicated following that tweeted at rising indie-pop artist Tessa Violet, and suggested daysormay as openers for her 2019 tour. After doing some quick online research about the band, Tessa was instantly hooked on the music, specifically their song “Role Model.” She brought daysormay out on the road and was so blown away that she subsequently introduced them to her team at T∆G Music, where Tessa herself holds a creative development position.
Full circle moment, daysormay will release their new EP through T∆G Music’s label, starting with “Role Model (ft. Tessa Violet)” this spring. The collaboration gives way to a high energy jam that is undeniably infectious. Insight into the whole EP, Role Model is a clear indication of how the band are unsatisfied to churn out simple three-minute rock standards. Audiences will hear how the band has continued to challenge their craft by incorporating pulsing drums, enchanting synths & guitars, unforgettable melodies and sharp-witted lyrics.
daysormay attack each new live show with a relentless energy of a band on the verge. Their history of stunning audiences is extensive, from at home in Canada, to headline shows in Europe, The Reeperbahn Festival in Germany, The Great Escape in England, Bumbershoot in Seattle and support slots on stages with Cold War Kids, Tessa Violet, Peach Pit, Walk Off The Earth and Arkells.
