Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell, known professionally as Billie Eilish, was born on December 18, 2001, in Los Angeles, California. Growing up in a family of musicians and actors, Billie was exposed to the entertainment industry from a young age. Initially, dancing was her passion, but a growth plate injury in 2015 led her to focus more on singing and songwriting.

Working closely with her older brother Finneas, who is her co-writer and producer, Billie began to make music that captivated audiences with its haunting vocals and unique production style. In 2015, their song "ocean eyes" went viral on SoundCloud, earning Billie a record deal with Interscope.

In 2017, Billie released her debut EP, "dont smile at me," which garnered critical acclaim and landed her a spot on Apple Music's UpNext showcase for upcoming artists. The EP also reached the top 40 on the Billboard 200 chart.

In 2019, Billie released her highly anticipated debut album, "WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?" The album was a huge success, earning Billie multiple Grammy nominations and wins, including Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year.
