Koethe - To Death

Copied!edit Lyrics

Rising sun
Back to our lot like we do so duly
Petty one
Hate what you hear when you're spoken to truly
Bite my tongue
Is there no other way we don't get a say do we
Said not done
So don't fucking act like a comrade to me

I'm lying awake, it's such a mistake, it's such a mistake, it shows
We're starting to break, we're starting to break and you know

To death
Give me a moment just to catch my breath
I, i, i feel it in my own
To be better left alone
And i am just a bit too done
All i can do not cut and run
I, i can feel it in my bones
We were whole and we were home

Changing pace
Rushed to the tune of a working theory
Have some grace
No remorse i’ve begun to fear we
Lost our place
And we can't get along all you focus on now is
Saving face
In the face of the facts that we see more clearly

We're starting to break, we're starting to break it shows
I'm lying awake, it's such a mistake, it's such a mistake and you know

To death
Give me a moment just to catch my breath
I, i, i feel it in my own
To be better left alone
And i am just a bit too done
All i can do not cut and run
I, i can feel it in my bones
We were whole and we were home

When we had come from a better place
When we had come from a better place
When we had come from a better place
When will you tire of the messages
When will you tire of the politics
When will you yearn for the rest of it

I'm lying awake, it's such a mistake, it's such a mistake you know
Were starting to break, we're starting to go

To death
Give me a moment just to catch my breath
I, i, i feel it in my own
To be better left alone
And i am just a bit too done
All i can do not cut and run
I, i can feel it in my bones
We were whole and we were home
