THE EXIT CLUB - Zero

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/934070
Just take a breath
I don’t wanna be alone
There’s nothing left
I’ll put your number in my phone
And I know that you're sick and you're tired of the same old bullshit

You call it a zero you need to know
Through your cigarette out the window
Maybe I should go now
Let’s take two nothing to do
Being stuck to the ground with you

Life’s drifting away
I’m stuck with you
You’ve got nothing to say
I’m stuck with you

Just smoke it up
The cigarette releases stress that eats you up
Being stuck in the pages of a book that won’t turn
There’s nothing to learn but it’s our turn

You call it a zero you need to know
Through your cigarettе out the window
Maybe I should go now
Let’s takе two nothing to do
Being stuck to the ground with you
Life’s drifting away
I’m stuck with you
You’ve got nothing to say
I’m stuck with you

No, I don't need you to stay
No, I don't need you to stay
No, I don't need you to stay

No, I don't need you to stay
No, I don't need you to stay
No, I don't need you to stay

Life's drifting away
I'm stuck with you
(Stay, stay, stay, stay)
You got nothing to say
I'm stuck with you
(Stay, stay, stay, stay)

Stay, stay, stay
Stay, stay

Stay, stay

THE EXIT CLUB hail from South East England. Vocalist/bassist Ellis Powell, guitarist/vocalist Joe Gooderson, guitarist Lewis Holmes and drummer Tom Kilvington have combined their efforts to create a new, and exciting, British alternative sound. Their self-produced debut EP “Missed Texts And Phone Calls” kick started their career. Full of energy and angst, the EP featured on BBC introducing and garnered over 20,000 stream in its first six months.

Their most recent single, CYNICAL, saw THE EXIT CLUB explore a new sound. Too featuring on BBC introducing, the track explored the music of the 80s – opening a new door for the band and setting the tone for what is to come in the near future. 2023 is lined up to be a significant year as the group seeks to better establish itself in the industry. THE EXIT CLUB’s new single “You” further blends the sounds of 80s alternative pop and contemporary indie.
