(Intro)
Its Drie!

(Chorus)
I know you wanna go
Down to the waters that God done showed you before
Remember that He smiles on His favorites
Pour mercies on the saints and the sinners in the game
So they can’t contain us
I know you wanna go
Down to the waters that God done showed you before
Remember that He smiles on His favorites
Pour mercies on the saints and the sinners in the game
So they can’t contain us
(Bridge)
So fly, High
Mind on Yah, try not to slide
Fly, High
Mind on Yah, try not to slide

(Verse)
Ok cool I’m in the booth
What I’m sposed to cap or tell the truth
Maybe drop a verse about the shoes the bags
How I’m finessing for the cash
Whole industry going out sad
But I’m on my own road
Talking Kanye and Cole
Understanding what the God theory holds
I wanna go I wanna go
To the land where the beaches covered in gold
So I’m decoding the shit they wanna bestow
Cause the angles don’t matter super zooming on your soul
I wanna go
Where the water bouncing my aura like lights on glass
Since I debuted they cut the lights on at last
Still, I watch nobody

(Chorus)
I know you wanna go
Down to the waters that God done showed you before
Remember that He smiles on His favorites
Pour mercies on the saints and the sinners in the game
So they can’t contain us

(Bridge)
So fly, High
Mind on Yah, try not to slide
Fly, High
Mind on Yah, try not to slide

I wanna go I wanna go

Queen Drie

Queen Drie, a relatively new Hip Hop and Rap artist, started creating music to contribute positively to art and black culture. Her songwriting and performing goal is to motivate and educate people about what it means to be Black and help alter their lives for the better.
Despite having such a set goal, Queen Drie’s music is made for everyone. This is why she self-categorizes it in a genre called “World.” As an artist who was born in Accra, Ghana, and now lives in Chicago, she knows a thing or two about different experiences, and her music reflects that.

Drie’s tracks are calm and refreshing, maintaining a vibe that’spositive yet punchy. Her fans love the sound of her arrangements while also the weight of her lyrics. The fact that there are so many people out there who love Rap with poignant lyrics motivates her to continue writing about real-world experiences.

Drie’s fans can get a taste of what her music’s all about through her song, Homosapien. This song explores and questions the human condition and experience in fresh ways while giving a beat to groove to.
Despite being new in the industry, this artist has performed live at the Summer Jam, hosted by 2wo Offishall, and “A Night with Pablozy,” held by the Nigerian artist Pablozy. While she’seager to get back on stage again, Drie’s currently focusing on developing her craft by exploring new and exciting sounds.
