verse 1
You're in a different time zone (time zone)
I don't know why i cry about (why i cry about it though) it though
You chose to explore time and space (explore time and space)
I chose to stay where i feel safe (stay where i feel safe)

chorus
You're a hopeless romantic
I'll cross the atlantic
To make my way home to you

post-chorus
Oo oo oo oo
Oo oo oo oo oo

verse 2
Wish that i could read your mind
'cause you know i think about you all the time
(i think about you all the time)
I send so many messages
In my head i feel i'm dreaming, dreaming, dreaming

chorus
But you're a hopeless romantic
I'll cross the atlantic
To make my way home to you
post-chorus
Oo oo oo oo
Oo oo oo oo oo
Oo oo oo oo
Oo oo oo oo oo

verse 3
Do you wanna go out for a drink
Haha just kidding you don't live near me
Do you think i'm funny when i do that kinda shit
Or am i tearing at you bit by bit, by bit

chorus
You're a hopeless romantic
I'll cross the atlantic
To make my way home to you

post-chorus
Oo oo oo oo
Oo oo oo oo oo
Oo oo oo oo
Oo oo oo oo oo

bridge
It's hard to tell how you really feel
The internet makes everything surreal
I gave you a special ringtone
When i hear it i don't feel as alone
chorus
'cause you're a hopeless romantic
I'll cross the atlantic
To make my way home to you

post-chorus
Oo oo oo oo
Oo oo oo oo oo
Oo oo oo oo
Oo oo oo oo oo

outro
Try as i might
I won't see you tonight
Though i wish you would answer my facetime call
Maybe it's one-sided
I could be misguided
Mixed messages in my head, head head head head
In my head, head head head head
In my head, head head head head
In my head, head head head head
In my head, head head head head
In my head, head head head head
In my head, head head head head
In my head, head head head head
In my head, head head head head
