★ Verse 1 ★: If it were up to me I'd have a house on a tree Living so far away from everybody else That no one hears me scream
And I don’t mean To say I'd be better off I think I just lack the confidence to speak the words I really mean to say
★ Pre-Chorus ★: Fuck the whole internet Is it the future yet Everything that we have except a clue Smash the like and subscribe My soul feels like it died Guess the world knows me better than I do
★ Chorus ★: Tell it to my face now We've got nothing but time Funny how a mess of strangers mess with my mind
Take in all the bullshit, use it, straighten your spine I don’t mean to get frustrated Guess I'm happy that I made it after all Look at me with first world problems Guess I'm happy that I made it after all ★ Verse 2 ★: Who am I supposed to be? What do you wanna see? Could you tell me if the expectation lives up to reality
Or have we changed Gone our own separate ways If that were true then maybe we could do with some time away
★ Pre-Chorus ★: Fuck the whole internet How did the future get More insane than in Terminator 2 Smash the like and subscribe My soul feels like it died Guess the world knows me better than I do
★ Chorus ★: Tell it to my face now We've got nothing but time Funny how a mess of strangers mess with my mind
Take in all the bullshit, use it, straighten your spine I don't mean to get frustrated Guess I'm happy that I made it after all I don't mean to get frustrated Guess I'm happy that I made it after all
I don’t mean to get frustrated Guess I’m happy that I made it after all
