Millicow - Kill The Cycle

To Rate
Verse 1
Retaliation
Victim creation
Self righteous delusion
Psychotic confusion
Dysfunction, lack of reason
Sudden change of season
Unfounded assumptions
Hypervigilant judgments
Inappropriate explosion
Most potent contagion
Of hatred and blaming
Accusation and shaming
There is no solution
Only circular revolutions
Of something so inhuman
Designed to suck you in

Morality all twisted
Which one is afflicted
Who sees the objective
And who is infected
Devoid of compassion
Our darkest reflections
Feedback loop reaction
Living reverberations
Vampiric condition
Spirit manipulation
Traumatic memory retention
To the point of obsession
Self righteous hell virus
Tell me why this spell exists
Watch it slide up, inside us
Somehow we don't even notice
Verse 2
You suffered so much
You forgot how to love
But I won't be tricked
Into hatred like this
I wish I could help but
My words are not enough
Can you see it for yourself?
Do you know what you have missed?
Why bother explaining
This shit has no ending
Ignore all the feelings?
Or ruminate unending?
I can't take my mind off you
I just don't know what to do
I refuse to look at you
What did we all do to you

Fatal flaw your painful claws
Crossed the line you're gone this time
There's no doubt what it's about
I'm not blind you betrayed your kind
Don't fall for the bait
When loved ones fall prey
It's not who you think
They're gone for the day
Never let them take
Your love away
And if things don't change
Then you must escape
Their circles don't break
It's too much to take
You can never win
When you let them in
There's no more to say
Simply walk away
Only love should stay
And maybe, someday…
Maybe they can see reality

Please do not let your pain
Make you inflict the same
Or the hatred will reign
Trauma ate away the brain
Don't become another psycho
You're the one to kill the cycle
Don't become another psycho
You're the one to
Kill the cycle
