verse 1: queen drie
We all spiritual beings having a human experience
It’s hideous but i feel the beauty when we get naked
I’m serious the demons is talking when i be faded
Delirious i’m feelin jaded
Anatomical beings hands on with the language
I’m in anguish i can’t speak just gimme the bandaid
It ain’t broke so don’t fix it you can soothe it with some drank and a bandage
Visual beings i love to see u in that red
Very intimal beings i feel u breathing down my neck
Dopamine with your hands on me
Dope in me got the soldier at ease
I i i i i i i i i
I’m never doing do doing it for the likes
I i i i i i i i
I’m gon blow so high till its no sky
I’m gon look my life from the birdseye
I’m gon bleed my truth until i’m bone dry
Bone dryer than a summer night
No man him haffi make the soldier comply no
I see the future in my minds eye
I feel the vision and it’s nearby see it with a closed eye
Mama say me haffi live mines
No regrets tonight ima live 'fore i die

verse 2
A digital being craving a human experience
I’m curious what does it mean to be a homo sapien
Furious pass me the mic it’s been so long awaited
And amplify they need to hear me
Phenomenal creatures perfectly
We can be very diabolical we volatile beings
Thirst for money and power
Hunger for gucci and prada
Glittery but it ain’t gold or dolce gabanna
Raised by the tv screen
Rays from the screen is killing me
Ablaze for the clout so deep
Race for the screen tryna program me
Anatomically changing my whole composition
Anomalies everyday you would think that was the mission
Crippling our generations they ain’t never gon admit it
Admit it you can’t wait to see the black man in prison
Locked away get lynched blow the whistle to the system
Blow the top off convertible run this bitch in a ditch
Red lights lights camera action for the likes
Flashing lights, flashy cars, that flashy life
Baby i can make you big just sign the dotted line
Feel so benign you doing lines you can’t even toe the line
You can’t even see the line you barely sleep at night can’t see the light

outro
L i v e drugs money and sex they tryna hold me
Dear god oou wee human nature release me
L i v e drugs money and sex they tryna hold me
Dear god oou wee human nature release me

Queen Drie, a relatively new Hip Hop and Rap artist, started creating music to contribute positively to art and black culture. Her songwriting and performing goal is to motivate and educate people about what it means to be Black and help alter their lives for the better.
Despite having such a set goal, Queen Drie’s music is made for everyone. This is why she self-categorizes it in a genre called “World.” As an artist who was born in Accra, Ghana, and now lives in Chicago, she knows a thing or two about different experiences, and her music reflects that.

Drie’s tracks are calm and refreshing, maintaining a vibe that’spositive yet punchy. Her fans love the sound of her arrangements while also the weight of her lyrics. The fact that there are so many people out there who love Rap with poignant lyrics motivates her to continue writing about real-world experiences.

Drie’s fans can get a taste of what her music’s all about through her song, Homosapien. This song explores and questions the human condition and experience in fresh ways while giving a beat to groove to.
Despite being new in the industry, this artist has performed live at the Summer Jam, hosted by 2wo Offishall, and “A Night with Pablozy,” held by the Nigerian artist Pablozy. While she’seager to get back on stage again, Drie’s currently focusing on developing her craft by exploring new and exciting sounds.
