The Move rose to fame in Britain during the 60s and early 70s with such songs as Blackberry Way (written by Roy Wood)
Despite their success in Britain having 9 top 20 UK singles within 5 years, The Move gained little to no success in America.
The band went through many changes, Ace ended up leaving due to his mental health as well as Trevor who left after a feud with drummer Bev Bevans.
Jeff Lynne (who you may know from Electric Light Orchestra) joined the band at a point but the band disbanded shortly after that, with Jeff, Roy and Bev starting to form ELO.
