Kindred Valley - Riverbed

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/1282788
It’s been so loud in here
It’s been too many days
I’ve thought of so many paths
My mind is turnin’ too many ways
Hold my head
Lay me down to sleep
Lay me down
It’s my soul you gotta keep
I’m cryin’ out for a straight mind
And all I’m seein’
Oh, I’m blind
And I’ve seen too many seasons
There’s just not been near enough time
Oh, speak peace to me
Oh, speak peace to my bones
Oh, speak peace to me
Hold me home

I went sleepin’ in a Riverbed
But the sunshine dried it up
I’ve been, oh I’ve been lookin’ for fruit
But the trees are all dead
I ain’t been fed
I’m a dead man walkin’
I’m a dead man walkin’
Oh it’s a dead tonguе talkin’

Hold my head
Lay me down to sleep
Lay me down
It’s my soul you gotta keep

Causе I’ve heard too much
And I’ve run too far away
Too many times
