Warumpi Band - No Fear

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/1305698
Verse
We met in school it was '75
Straight away we could feel the vibes of friendship
As time went on the knowledge we shared
Made us strong (oh yeah)
You used to say late at night
I have no fear everything's alright
We have no fear everything is clear we were together

You went alone to a party one night without me
A man came down wanting to fight
He went away and you followed behind
Just to make thе peace
Cause that's thе way you were
But something mad was loose in the dark
For when you knocked on the door
You copped a shotgun blast
And I watched it all on the TV news
And never knew
It was you till the papers arrived next morning

Chorus 1
Who can explain what's going on?
One minute you're alive the next you're gone!

Who can explain what's going on?
One minute you're alive the next you're gone!

Verse
I lost a friend at such a cost
But I keep on movin' gotta carry on
Just to make the peace with the past
And the memory that dies hard when you said
I have no fear everyting is clear
When you're near me

I know you've all lost someone you love
But you gotta keep on movin' struggle on
Till the time comes with somebody new
Who truly understands
And you can say
You can say

Chorus 2
We have no fear everything is clear
We have no fear everything is clear
We have no fear everything is clear
....
(We are together)
We have no fear everything is clear
...

The rock band formed in 1980 with three main members, Neil Murray from Victoria, Sammy Butcher from Papunya and George Burarrwanga from Elcho Island. Their songs are in English, Luritja and Gumatj.
