Kindred Valley - The Wedding Song

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/1368187
Verse 1
I met you in the mountains
I was sorta new here, so where you
You caught my eye
And I couldn't look away
Thought that it might fade
But darling- you're here to stay
Seasons changed around me
But inside too, as I fell for you

Chorus
So keep your hand in mine
And soon we'll find that we
Can keep floating down
For the rest of our time

Verse 2
I was scared out of my mind
Thought I'd no chance
That she'll be mine
We spent the summer
On the river
I watched from the other side
The current took us down-stream
And left my heard floating high

Chorus
So keep your hand in mine
And soon we'll find that we
Can keep floating down
For the rest of our time

Chorus
So keep your hand in mine
And soon we'll find that we
Can keep floating down
For the rest of our time

Verse 3
Staring at the stars
Through my sunroof
But it was nothing better
Than the passenger seat
We talked a little
We talked a lot
I got to know you
In that parking spot
Next I knew you
Were saying yes
On Cherokee lands
Down there on our knees
On both of our hands
Together we'll see
Oh baby, I'll sing

Chorus
So keep your hand in mine
And soon we'll find that we
Can keep floating down
For the rest of our time
Keep your hand in mine
And soon we'll find that we
Can keep floating down
For the rest of our time
