Eleventyseven - Side Hug

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/1516954
Juggling the weight of the mandate
Bubble to the top like a phosphate
Trauma still modeled in my chest X-ray, yeah
Wobble like a VHS on the replay

Struggle with a puzzle when the piece breaks
Looking in the mirror like "damn, that's a deepfake"
Try to cut ties with the heartbreak
But I got this thread of Ariadne sewn in my bitrate

Used to kinda side hug all my hopes
Used to walk lines like high tightropes
Now I can't quit championships
Putting out hits on my heroes
Bat out of hell like Meat Loaf
Can't cool down like a heatstroke
Dropping this weight like keto
Hope y'all never gotta break like we broke

Fast lane in the campaign
Now I got a lot of champagne in the membrane
Knocking out fires like a Blastoise
I'm a bad boy, Bruce Willis on an asteroid

And when I splat like Pollock with the paint throw
I'll be swimming down Styx with the backstroke
Nailed to the heresy, slipping in my source code
Match to the kerosene soaking in my halo
Used to kinda side hug all my hopes
Used to walk lines like high tightropes
Now I can't quit championships
Putting out hits on my heroes
Bat out of hell like Meat Loaf
Can't cool down like a heatstroke
Dropping this weight like keto
Hope y'all never gotta break like we broke

(Hope y'all never gotta break like we broke)

Used to kinda side hug all my hopes
Used to walk lines like high tightropes
Now I can't quit championships
Putting out hits on my heroes
Bat out of hell like Meat Loaf
Can't cool down like a heatstroke
Dropping this weight like keto
Hope y'all never gotta break like we broke
