Eleventyseven - Bleachers

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/460922
Pop-punk kids stuck in the grid
Just like Flynn before 'em
Sins of the rents, spared no expense
Now we can't afford 'em
Nineties idols filling prison cafeterias
For touching us
Tongues on the move
They wanna trade my skin for glitter
Come for the view, stay for the A.I. babysitter
Pseudoscientific pop culture trickery
A better me

Won't somebody show the teachers
All this blood beneath the bleachers?
I'll be damned, they already know
They know we got nothing better
Waiting for acceptance letters
In this high-def everglow

Up from the mud, washed in the blood
Crucifixerupper?
Loop up the noose, who's the new Judas undercover?
New solutions for your existential crisis
Are coming back to bite us
Bricks in the wall, lost in a bedroom mortuary
Kiss from a prince, woke from a Xanax February
The Walt Disne-fications of our love songs
Are wearing off, it won't be long

Won't somebody show the teachers
All this blood beneath the bleachers?
I'll be damned, they already know
They know we got nothing better
Waiting for acceptance letters
In this high-def everglow

Won't somebody show the teachers
All this blood beneath the bleachers?
I'll be damned, they already know
They know we got nothing better
Waiting for acceptance letters
In this high-def everglow

More Eleventyseven lyrics

Eleventyseven - Nightmare
I know, it sounds out there But i hate to fall asleep Since you have come along and made life seem like a dream I was the last one you'd ever expect To find someone out there

Eleventyseven - Lonely Word
Your eyes are like a tidal wave taking me out And there's nothing I can do I'm a shooting star that's headed for earth I'm gravitating straight to you Its

Eleventyseven - Hellmouth
{Verse 1: Matt Langston} Take a breath, find a safe space I'm a panic attack when you meditate Got me second-guessin' every quest that I'm takin'

Eleventyseven - Brains
Rock and mother-fuckin' roll won't ever be As legit as when we were seventeen You're forty-five sipping' juice outside of the teenage disco Take me out

Eleventyseven - Damage
{Verse 1} You nail your crosses to your prom queens Youth grown in a closet full of bones Left over from your sad nights at nineteen Slice toes just to fit glass

Eleventyseven - Bleachers
Pop-punk kids stuck in the grid Just like Flynn before 'em Sins of the rents, spared no expense Now we can't afford 'em Nineties idols filling prison cafeterias

Eleventyseven - Hiding in Us
I've been down in the well too Soaked to the bone in sorrow They don't make enough drugs to Fill up a hole that hollow It feels like they want you To smile back

Eleventyseven - Mean Streak
Found bravery in bottles Before I threw it up Impatience in the time it takes To try and sober up Thought if I could settle down That they would let me off the hook

Eleventyseven - Heaven for Devils
She's the holdup In my heartbeat She's the darkness In my bloodstream Baptized in the river Scrubbed my soul clean Then you show up In my drug

Eleventyseven - Carolina Pine
Mama told her Don't go chasing rings They put you out to pasture When they get down on one knee Oh baby girl I used to dream like you But just cause daddy pays
