Time - Haunted Sycamore Tree

I made friends with a haunted sycamore tree
We talked about birds and nests and the changing of leaves
She said don't worry about my ghosts they're apart of me
She took a piece of her bark and said here make some tea
Transcendent fire, I boiled the water
She told me bout the seasonal wars with beavers and otters
I said damn, she laughed and pardoned the pun
I sipped the tеa gently, it healed my lungs
Thе steam of the tea wrote in calligraphy
The cursive was fleeting but there was a message for me
I can't describe it with words if i tried it'd be a book
Maybe staring at a sunset while eternity looks?
She said trees don't die, their light goes dim
And even when they're just a stump we send nutrients to them
She said my branches are antennas they're much more than limbs
She said we're all part of earth we're much more than friends
She didn't use words more like telepathic hymns
Vibrational emotions like the voice of violins
Ancient mariner through these rimes I swim
Patient with the derringer the reaper grins
I won't catch a fade the cross hairs won't win
Catcher in the Rye but I harvest within
Crop circles in the sky in a Fibonacci spiral
The sun goes down the moon blooms on arrival
I asked if trees were like hotels for birds?
She said you think give and take in possession and worth
She said hotels are property and they cost a fee
What's a market but a thief? what's lack but grief?
What's death but commodity? money's from a chopped tree
Before a bank robbery, the forest had a robbery
I once saw a mansion, all I saw was poverty
The greatest crime is when they stole curiosity
She said human means clay you're the planet's pottery
