Time - The Art of Bar 3

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/2060187
The watch is in your mouth I think you really obsessed with me
There's a warrant for my mic for murder to accessory
Freestyle ESP, I’m in the ether extrasensory
Telepathic rhymes like Dr. X possessing me
Bars coming to me like Magneto's specialty
I bend them into songs then I throw em at your dentistry
I’m swimming in bars like scrooge McDuck’s treasury
You have bar deficiency, my bars got density
Pump fake pivot in the studio fundamentally
The booth is a 4D tesseract touching infinity
I rap in rain or sunshine it don't matter what the weather be
If a rapper lives or dies it all depends whether he
Steps on stage or apologize excessively
The last one got witness protection changed his identity
He changed his name but his brain still remember me
I put an emcee through hell like Beverly
The albums are the story these are all supplementary
They say it's overkill but overkill’s a necessity
Kill them accidentally big words like hegemony
Dateline's been following me making documentaries
Trying to figure out why I murder beats excessively
Most these rappers rabbits, I find em where the carats be
Cookie Monster the beat, i spit out seeds and Sesame
Lately these industry puppets have been depressing me
If money is your god then convict me of heresy
The preacher came to exorcize he started blessing me
He gave me Righteous Gemstones like mega church parody
One Mic is all i need, that's a Nas recipe
Me against the world I guess it's just my pen and me
If you love billionaires then you worship disparity
I don’t write rhymes, I write paragraphs of clarity
I don’t write poison, I write in antidote remedies
I don't go viral, I go healing energy
Not a one hit wonder, I’m infinite through the centuries

Biography

edit bio
Time was a rock band from Yugoslavia that made a significant impact on the music scene in the 1970s. Formed in 1971 by Dado Topić, who had previously been a member of Korni Grupa, the band quickly gained a following with their unique blend of progressive rock and jazz influences.

The original lineup of Time included Dado Topić on vocals, Tihomir “Pop” Asanović on organ, Vedran Božić on guitar, Mario Mavrin on bass, Ratko Divjak on drums, and Brane Lambert Živković on piano and flute. Over the years, the lineup changed frequently, but the core members remained dedicated to creating innovative and captivating music.

Time released three albums during their time together, each showcasing their musical versatility and talent. Their first album featured a prominent Hammond organ, piano, and flute, while their second album had a harder sound with several ballads. The third album introduced a jazz-funk production style, further expanding their musical repertoire.

Some of Time's most popular songs include “Da li znaš da te volim”, “Rock ‘n’ roll u Beogradu”, and “Istina mašina”, which showcased their ability to create memorable and engaging music that resonated with audiences.

After disbanding in late 1977, Dado Topić embarked on a successful solo career, but the legacy of Time continued to live on. In 1998 and 2001, the band reunited for a limited number of live concerts, delighting fans with their timeless music and energetic performances.

Today, Time still plays together as a rock trio, continuing to captivate audiences with their unique sound and enduring musical legacy. Their influence can be heard in the work of many contemporary artists, solidifying their place in the history of Yugoslavian rock music.
