True North - Famous Last Words

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/242864
I don't care if you take these words in
But I still have to say some things
So just act like you're listening
Cause whether or not you fake it
Its just enough to lift this off my shoulders
Before it finally weighs me down

These could be the final words you'll ever hear me say

How can I keep marching on without an end in sight?
To force another plastic smile, and keep acting polite
I can't keep letting go, because you'll just keep coming back
And I don't wanna be the end to your never ending story

And I'll scream these words if I have to
How could you act so content
When you think of all that's gone wrong?
I should have said this long ago
But instead I held my tongue
And I'll live it through all over
Before I let this go unsung

These could be the final words you'll ever hear me say

How can I keep marching on without an end in sight?
To force another plastic smile, and keep acting polite
I can't keep letting go, because you'll just keep coming back
And I don't wanna be the end to your never ending story

There can never be a final moment, never be a final kiss
Its just another new beginning, just another page to turn
Something more to keep me from the truth
Something more to keep me from...

I should never have said those three little words
I'm imprisoned by all that they stood for
And whether or not I believed them
In the moment they escaped my lips
I'm not as foolish as I was before

True North is an alternative-rock band formed in 2016. Their current line up consists of Joel Ferber, Tim Beken, Sean Hansen, Morgan Kibler, and Michael Cisterna. Drawing inspiration from mid-2000’s scene rock as well as modern pop music, the band continues to create nostalgic yet modern-day music that is sure to make waves in the rock music scene. The band invokes intense emotion from their listeners by seamlessly transitioning haunting and atmospheric verses into powerful, yet perfectly syncopated choruses. Their dark and edgy, yet sleek branding ties it all together, and is quickly helping them gain traction on their most recent releases.
