verse 1: true north
Why is everyone i know fucking failing me?
Why is anything i try make it so much worse?
And when i just fell down, i was all alone, all alone
I shoulda told you, that i'm half closed off
That i expect more than half of

chorus: true north
Your confession
❲?❳
So i keep in everything
I swear i never learn my lesson
Because it's deeper than the skin
I know you believe in help
I swear i wanted

verse 2: kellin quinn
I don't hate you, but i hate myself
I hate this hand, that i've been dealt
And now i never ask for help
Be a man and just keep yoursеlf together
So you wish you could be bеtter, yeah
'cause boys don't cry, don't show those tears in your eyes

chorus: true north, kellin quinn, both
Your confession (your confession)
❲?❳
So i keep in everything
I swear i never learn my lesson
Because it's deeper than the skin
I know you believe in help
I swear i wanted

bridge: kellin quinn, true north, both
The more i push, the more you pull me away (pull me away)
I can't believe we end this way
I can't believe we end this way
And after everything, i said i would do
I'm walkin' 'round in circles
I'm following you
And if i fight, the more i try, the more that i lose (more that i lose)
I thought i knew you better
I thought i knew you

chorus: true north, kellin quinn, both
Your confession (your confession)
❲?❳
So i keep in everything
I swear i never learn my lesson (learn my lesson)
Because it's deeper than the skin
I know you believe in help
I swear i wanted

outro: kellin quinn, true north
This is deeper than the skin
So i keep in everything
Never learn my lesson
Yeah i swear i never learn
