Intro
Like a cheetah
Like a cheetah

Verse 1
I been watching you
You been watching me
And I can see
That you understand
You been going hard
I been moving slow
Cuz I gotta see
What's in your hand
I know that you're a gentleman
Don't wanna rush
And lose your stance
It isn't hard if it's meant to last
So if it is
You can have this dance

Chorus
Come through
And hit like a
Cheetah cheetah cheetah
Make me grateful
That I got to
Meet ya meet ya ya
Come through
And hit like a
Cheetah cheetah cheetah
Make 'em other boys
Wanna be ya be ya be ya

Post Chorus
Come through
Ooooh
Come through
Come through
Fast like a cheetah
Want you to come through
Fast like a cheetah

Verse 2
It's critical
For you to under stand
I ain't got too much time to waste
Gotta be competitive
If you want my hand
Gotta bring something to the table
They wanna give me 4 karat bands
If it's shiny
I can wear it on my hands
I can get another one
For my plans
Come and get it boy
Don't let it pass

Chorus
Come through
And hit like a
Cheetah cheetah cheetah
Make me grateful
That I got to
Meet ya meet ya ya
Come through
And hit like a
Cheetah cheetah cheetah
Make 'em other boys
Wanna be ya be ya be ya

Post Chorus
Come through
Ooooh
Come through
Come through
Fast like a cheetah
Want you to come through
Fast like a cheetah

Bridge
Let's make this a rare encounter
Do it one time
We can make it work
If you light the fire right

Let's make this a rare encounter
Do it one time
We can make it work
If you light the fire right

Like a cheetah
Ooooh yeah
Fast fast
Like a Cheetah
Yeah, mmmmmmm

Biography

edit bio
Born to an Afro Jamaican father who once played bass in a reggae band and a Chinese Jamaican mother, Layla Rhule is a multifaceted artist who is able to blend elements of internationally renowned Jamaican genres like Reggae and Rocksteady with haunting piano melodies. Born and raised in the capital of Jamaica, Kingston, Layla is a classically trained pianist. She became interested in playing the piano upon seeing the instrument onstage as a child in devotions at elementary school and becoming fascinated with the R&B and soul music she heard on the radio as a young child. Her interest in piano was further solidified upon hearing Alicia Keys’ Fallin’ for the first time when she was 7 years old. She has intentionally set out to become an artiste that crafts songs with meaningful and powerful lyrics. Armed with a desire to carry on the strong tradition of classic Reggae songs with deep meanings and the sensibilities of a classically trained musician, she brings a sound rarely ventured by many Jamaican artists; a crossover version of reggae and dancehall that incorporates elements of other genres both like R&B, Pop, Latin music, Soca, Hip Hop and Classical Music. She invites you to take this journey with her.
