Ian Santillano - Cold Feet

I’ve got cold feet but I’ll still walk in
Like I’m big ballin'
Can’t nobody sense my fear
That’s how I’ve gotten here

Got cold feet but I’ll still walk in
Like I’m big ballin'
Can’t nobody sense my fear
That’s how I’ve gotten here

Funny how these nerves they trip me up
Was concerned I wouldn’t get no love
Tell me how to catch my own bluff
Cause now I’m stepping straight into it
Kicked the cup and focused on the trust (ah)
Never thought I’d realize as much (ah)
And life’s too short to give into evеry crutch
So now, I play all of my music

I’ve got cold feet but I’ll still walk in (yeah)
Like I’m big ballin' (likе I’m big ballin')
Can’t nobody sense my fear
That’s how I’ve gotten here (yeah yeah)

Got cold feet but I’ll still walk in (still walk in)
Like I’m big ballin'
Can’t nobody sense my fear
That’s how I’ve gotten here

And ah listen up now y’all
Said we were bound to fall
But it doesn’t matter
Don’t listen to that chatter
Go chase what your after
That is all that really matters

Yeah

I’ve got cold feet but I’ll still walk in (still walk in)
Like I’m big ballin'
Can’t nobody sense my fear (no)
That’s how I’ve gotten here (yeah)
Got cold feet but I’ll still walk in
Like I’m big ballin'
Can’t nobody
Can’t nobody sense my fear
Woah, hey

(Instrumental break)

I’ve got cold feet but I’ll still walk in
Can’t nobody sense my fear

Cold feet but I’ll still walk in
Can’t nobody sense my fear
That’s how I’ve gotten here

I’ve got cold feet yeah
I’ve got cold feet yeah (yeah)
I’ve got cold feet yeah (oh)

I’ve got cold feet but I’ll still walk in
Like I’m big ballin'

Ian Santillano

From Hayward, California, multi-instrumentalist Ian Santillano started teaching himself how to play a real guitar after years of playing Guitar Hero. Soon after, Ian’s cousin introduced him to John Mayer’s “Continuum” and Ian’s life changed forever. Discovering D'Angelo’s “Voodoo” and later Kendrick Lamar’s “To Pimp A Butterfly” along with all the musicians involved in making those records would play a huge role in shaping Ian’s melodic-funky-soulful sound. In college, Ian would sharpen his music skills through hours of practice and private lessons in the Santa Clara University music program, learning jazz and music theory – all whilst getting a degree in computer engineering. Now at 24, Ian explores his own artistry by writing, arranging, producing, and recording original music with his guitars, his instruments, and his voice. Lush pads, funky drums, dreamy vocals, and aggressive guitar solos become a bed for Ian to lyricise his message of honesty and self experience – whether it be about love, indecision, or admitting one’s faults. Ian has a sound all his own: “Greasy Mayer” – melodic funky soul singer-songwriter with a touch of jazz vocabulary.
