Kindred Valley - Mourning Moon

To Rate
Verse 1
I was there on the fourth day
When everything was new
Not much had been made yet
No, not even you

I watched the earth be born
As it came fresh into life
There he walked in the garden
While you came into sight
Verse 2
There was a fear raisin’
Deep inside of me
I saw your mother
Grabbin’ for that tree

I saw your father try
Jumpin higher than he should be
I felt my tears fall
Couldn’t believe what I saw

Verse 3
My brothers, thе trees
Are swaying in wait
My sisters, the rivеrs
Are rushing in pain

Who is this new man?
Who is this fully Divine?
Is he hope for a people?
Is this Jonah’s sign?

Verse 4
He brings a new garden
To you in desert land
Breathe in, oh you dead lungs
And see the promised man
I will be no more needed
The Son walks with you now
I will be, oh completed
When redemption’s fully found

Outro
We’ve been groaning
And waiting
For a new creation
Hear me sighing up high
A Mourning Moon
