Kindred Valley - Half My Heart

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/1368123
verse 1
Half my heart's in north carolina
It ain't where my lover is
I ain't got one yet
It's forest roads to my family
As the river guides me home
It's where my soul finds rest on earth
Oh, i'm coming home

verse 2
Cause half my heart's in north carolina
It's where my people are
It's where i learn truth
And how to be a friend
Take me back to my home by the river
Take me back to my home miles away

chorus
Ride with me, talk with me
I haven't seen you in ages
Ride with me, talk with me
I haven't seen you in ages

verse 3
Life in buses and cabins
Is where i wanna spend it
In the snowbird mountains
Where my soul still lives
My hearts beats everyday
For the people i don't see

chorus
Ride with me, talk with me
I haven't seen you in ages
Ride with me, talk with me
I haven't seen you in ages

refrain
Oh, i miss you
And i'm driving right past asheville
Coming back on 26
Oh, i miss you
Oh, i miss you
And i won't be there tomorrow
Lord knows i'm coming soon
Oh, i miss you

refrain
Oh, i miss you
And i'm driving right past asheville
Coming back on 26
Oh, i miss you
Oh, i miss you
And i won't be there tomorrow
Lord knows i'm coming soon
Oh, i miss you
O-oh

chorus
Ride with me, talk with me
I haven't seen you in ages
Ride with me, talk with me
I haven't seen you in ages
