★ Verse 2 ★ I need the speed, you need the wine To face the darkness song Put on your heels, destroy their minds And you’ll be theirs to borrow You know I hate to see the night Hold you in his arms I know that if I do it right You’ll be mine tomorrow ★ Chorus ★ Thosе city lights They belong to me You'rе in my soul, in my soul Take me over to the other side, now
(Oh, ooh, ah)

A collaborative project between Graham Coxon, the guitarist of Blur and Rose Elinor Dougall, ex-Pipettes member. They performed their launch show at the Lexington on May 4th.
They came together after exchanging messages during the lockdown Christmas of 2020. They soon started writing songs before their collaboration “gave rise to an unexpected sonic universe” (Via NME)
They released a statement on Instagram: “The coming together of two musicians, who through working together have formed a new, singular, sonic identity. Themes of oblivion and surrender are juxtaposed with suggestions of hopefulness and light. Against a brutal global backdrop of impending apocalypse and despair, Graham Coxon and Rose Elinor Dougall strove to free themselves through the defiant, blind optimism of making music.”
