My muse is the Lord I’m doing His working

Make you never bench me before I collect my pension

If I ever compete know them niggas is defeated
Always completing I chok waiting for the payday

Hating on my song, heads bopping to the same beat
Wanna turn it off when they hearing that it’s the Queen Drie
Fuck with me turn it up you know this shit goes hard baby
When I’m on the road doing shows don’t be mad
Cause I been grinding and praying I don’t ever get no sleep
Put the pen to jotter my bars too deep
Deeper than rock bottom my rise gon steep
Steaming like broccoli my sweat gon sweet

Queen Drie

Queen Drie, a relatively new Hip Hop and Rap artist, started creating music to contribute positively to art and black culture. Her songwriting and performing goal is to motivate and educate people about what it means to be Black and help alter their lives for the better.
Despite having such a set goal, Queen Drie’s music is made for everyone. This is why she self-categorizes it in a genre called “World.” As an artist who was born in Accra, Ghana, and now lives in Chicago, she knows a thing or two about different experiences, and her music reflects that.

Drie’s tracks are calm and refreshing, maintaining a vibe that’spositive yet punchy. Her fans love the sound of her arrangements while also the weight of her lyrics. The fact that there are so many people out there who love Rap with poignant lyrics motivates her to continue writing about real-world experiences.

Drie’s fans can get a taste of what her music’s all about through her song, Homosapien. This song explores and questions the human condition and experience in fresh ways while giving a beat to groove to.
Despite being new in the industry, this artist has performed live at the Summer Jam, hosted by 2wo Offishall, and “A Night with Pablozy,” held by the Nigerian artist Pablozy. While she’seager to get back on stage again, Drie’s currently focusing on developing her craft by exploring new and exciting sounds.
