Brandon Ratcliff - Always Moving On

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/1397341
Verse 1
We fall in love just to say you fell
Treat your heart like a cheap hotel
Waste a nickel in the wishing wells
Skip town, start down at the bottom
Might as well smoke 'em, everybody got 'em
Gotta feel better if it means feeling worse
Ain't nobody starting at the finish line first

Chorus
Ain't we all just always on our way
Just one day away from someday one day
Just going 'round in circles, trying to go straight
All falling in pieces, all falling in place
Ain't we all just traveling, trippin' gypsy drifting
Unraveling the road 'until we're gone
Ain't we all just always moving on
Ain't we all just

Verse 2
Racing reckless in between red lights
Then locking brakes up just to stop on the dime
Looking for a better better than the one we got
Oh when it don't get any better, you better stop

Chorus
Ain't we all just always on our way
Just one day away from someday one day
Just going 'round in circles, trying to go straight
All falling in pieces, all falling in place
Ain't we all just traveling, trippin' gypsy drifting
Unraveling the road 'til we're gone
Ain't we all just always moving on

Chorus
Ain't we all just always on our way
Just one day away from someday one day
Just going 'round in circles, trying to go straight
All falling in pieces, all falling in place
Ain't we all just traveling, trippin' gypsy drifting
Unraveling the road until we're gone
Ain't we all just always moving on
We're moving on
We're moving on
We're moving on

Biography

edit bio
Brandon Ratcliff is a 24 year old singer-songwriter and artist from Cotton Valley, Louisiana. Son of Suzanne Cox of the legendary Cox Family, he was surrounded by music and began to hone his craft from a very young age. His talents quickly attracted the music business machine in Nashville, but at the age of 20, he decided to turn down a publishing deal and work on his craft….he would not take the quick and easy route. In the process of finding great co-writing partners, he befriended Pete Good (producer and co-writer) and AJ Babcock (co-writer) who would go on to become his closest friends outside of the studio. Together, they honed Ratcliff’s musical talent drawing from country, R&B and classic rock to Ratcliff’s personal inspirations such as Stevie Wonder and John Mayer. Eventually, Grammy-award winning producer Shane McAnally teamed up with them, and the result is a bold, fresh look at the seasons of relationships delivered by an artist with a clear point of view and a distinctive sound.
