Copied!edit Lyrics

Intro
Listen
Bring in the drums
Give me sweet guitar
Alright

Verse 1
I got one foot through the door
One foot in the grave
One hand in my pocket
The other one's come ❲?❳
Both hands on the mirror
Praying that it goes away
I can smash it to pieces
But the reflection wouldn't change

Pre-Chorus
Feel like I'm living in a nightmare
Waiting for a nuclear war
Keeping all my cards on the table
Finding all my truth in a fable
It isn't what I want anymore

(One foot in the door, one foot in the grave)
(One hand in my pocket, ❲?❳)
Feel like I'm livin' in a nightmare
Keepin' all my faith in a lie
❲?❳, tryin' get to heavеn
Without knowin' why

Chorus
Give a little
Give all your monеy to the movement
Give all your movement to the hivemind
Feel like I'm living in a nightmare
Give all your movement to the hivemind

Verse 2
Alright
I feel like I'm running in circles
Instead of falling behind
Tell me if it's all for nothing
Or if I'm just losing my mind

Pre-Chorus
Feel like I'm living in a nightmare
I can't sleep through the night
I'm tossin', and I'm turnin' in this state I feel like I'm burnin' up, Forgetting all the lessons I'm learning, I think I'm living in a nightmare

(One foot in the door)
Oh yeah
(One foot in the grave)
In the grave
(One hand in my pocket)
In my pocket
(One down the ❲?❳)
Feel like I'm walkin' on a tightrope
Trying make sense of it all
Looking for the answers, I trip and stumble backward, trying keep my feet on the ground

Chorus
Give a little
Give all your money to the movement
Give all your movement to the hivemind
Feel like I'm living in a nightmare
Give all your movement to the hivemind

Bridge
Pop 'em from the pills
Tell 'em no one's gonna love them
Unless they act the part
Tell 'em all they are is a letter and a number
In a game of cards
Grades and dollars
Sons and daughters
Plastic knives and Magnum revolvers
When you hit the ice but "yeah, the ship won't sink"
They're gonna tell you the ship don't stink
Sinister lots of religious preachers and followers
I rather see this as believers and borrowers
When you live in the moment, you don't got time to think
You're always looking but you still gotta think
You got your own set of flaws that you're acutely aware of
You find your own set of laws so you can beat us in ❲?❳
❲?❳

Instrumental

(One foot in the door)
(One foot in the grave)

Biography

edit bio
Using a string of eclectic, yet similarly electrifying singles as their fuel, Moon Walker crashed onto the earth like a space age rocket. The duo’s undeniable energy and inimitable musical chemistry is the result of over half a decade of playing shows and self-releasing music together.

Taking cues from such legends as Bowie, Talking Heads and Led Zeppelin, singer/guitarist Harry Springer and drummer Sean McCarthy have created a fusion of explosive drum grooves and thrashing guitar riffs that is all their own. While listeners might hear traces of glam rock, post punk, or even kraut rock echoing through debut record (coming soon), one would be left scratching their head for weeks if they sought to limit Moon Walker’s vast soundscape to one genre. With bold, timely lyrics that confront such issues as economic inequality, media sensationalism and social responsibility, Moon Walker has made it clear that they will never shy away from shouting what they believe in. So, listen up, because Moon Walker has a lot to say and they aren’t going anywhere.
