Koethe - To Lose Control

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/67630
Verse 1
It's the ending of the world, but you're caught on saving face
Everyone still running circles for the prizes that they chase
No one wants to lose the battle, even less they want to change
At all
It's the ending of an era, it's the changing of the tide
Through illusion and delusion, you can push the rest aside
When you're out of false pretenses, even more you want to hide
It all

Chorus
Hold now
Still your sail and slow down
We have lost control now
We can still pretend
Your profits
Propping up your coffins
Let you play your games right
Up until the end
The end

Verse 2
It's the ending of a world built and binded by your greed
When it's all taken for granted, but you take not what you need
In the end you have been blinded, but in blindness you will see
It all

Chorus
Hold now
Still your sail and slow down
We have lost control now
We can still pretend
Your profits
Propping up your coffins
Let you play your games right
Up until the end
The end

Bridge
At the end of this performance, at the end of this charade
As our curtain calls upon us and the shadows take the stage
Take no solace in your answers, even less that you will change
This all
In your fever and your faith, I believe that you would trade
Us all

Chorus
Hold now
Still your sail and slow down
We have lost control now
We we still pretend
Your profits
Propping up your coffins
Let you play your games right
Up until the end
Hold now
Still your sail and slow down
We have lost control now
We can still pretend
Your profits
Propping up your coffins
Let you play your games right
Up until the end
The end
