Time - Quantum Soup

Alphabet quantum soup I guess I’m stuck in a loop
Ashes fall from the sky a phoenix cries and swoops
He sat back and observed the curious flight of the birds
He opened his book to a random page and recited the words
"Friends, unlock the locks of the beloved's head
So on this joyous night, let the story spread"
Humans are natural weavers always finding connections
But there's danger in always trying to find it that's the lesson
He said in yourself you need to find non rejection
Society teachеs self hate cause wе admire perfection
How many of us get used by people cuz we want to feel useful
But you're perfect the way you are the earth thinks you're beautiful
So many of us are treading the subtle trauma of childhood
So we self sabotage and build our homes with firewood
The mind likes to hides memories like a survival shield
But the thing about writing the more you do the more reveals
I found a chemical key that opened dimensions concealed
Where beings talked with colors and feelings my reality peeled
They said they speak in dreams and camouflage in mystery
They spoke of beautiful anguish the riddles contradictory
What are the mechanics of your coping mechanisms?
They're often hidden in taboos and eroticism
He burned all his blueprints for his victim archetype
How do you sing your song of self during your darkest night?
You'll find your higher soul where the demons and saints meet
Astral sword fight in desire's blood paint me
The pond grew a lotus crown the water was coronated
The petals open for the sun at the speed of the sacred
Meet me at the crossroads between laughter and tears
One mountain many paths but we all got here
Disgust for the other often leads to evil
Nature's the great teacher John L Seagull
You attract what you resist, you block what you allow
Look at all my ugliness, can you really love me now?
Who's pain do you suffer, which cycle are you upholding?
I found the wisdom of the heart, it crushed me like a boulder
Pink and cream clouds the sunset Neapolitan
Covered in psychic blood sweating out the sorrow and
These are just some thoughts as I walk the metropolitan
As the sewer steam spells out the Song of Solomon
Everything playing its melody at once is the song of the cosmos
It echoes through the universe, an infinite spiral

Time

Time was a rock band from Yugoslavia that made a significant impact on the music scene in the 1970s. Formed in 1971 by Dado Topić, who had previously been a member of Korni Grupa, the band quickly gained a following with their unique blend of progressive rock and jazz influences.

The original lineup of Time included Dado Topić on vocals, Tihomir “Pop” Asanović on organ, Vedran Božić on guitar, Mario Mavrin on bass, Ratko Divjak on drums, and Brane Lambert Živković on piano and flute. Over the years, the lineup changed frequently, but the core members remained dedicated to creating innovative and captivating music.

Time released three albums during their time together, each showcasing their musical versatility and talent. Their first album featured a prominent Hammond organ, piano, and flute, while their second album had a harder sound with several ballads. The third album introduced a jazz-funk production style, further expanding their musical repertoire.

Some of Time's most popular songs include “Da li znaš da te volim”, “Rock ‘n’ roll u Beogradu”, and “Istina mašina”, which showcased their ability to create memorable and engaging music that resonated with audiences.

After disbanding in late 1977, Dado Topić embarked on a successful solo career, but the legacy of Time continued to live on. In 1998 and 2001, the band reunited for a limited number of live concerts, delighting fans with their timeless music and energetic performances.

Today, Time still plays together as a rock trio, continuing to captivate audiences with their unique sound and enduring musical legacy. Their influence can be heard in the work of many contemporary artists, solidifying their place in the history of Yugoslavian rock music.
