Frost on the pop filter i spit wintergreen
Peppermint flow icy, mix it with the bitter tea
I write repetitiously eat beats deliciously
Body me on a beat that's fictitious speak
Rappers in the cypher looking nervous and jittery
Spit so much i increase denver's humidity
Marx said all that is solid melts invisibly
But my bars stay solid 50 lines hit vividly
Light 50 candles for the 50 beats that visit me
Olive oil flow i cook the alphabet admittedly
Cooking instrumentals lab smelling like hickory
Spitting fire, spin the track, call that rotisseriе
Class in session hit play no tuition fee
The beat is thе gas, the mic the ignition key
Paint with your words show the scene descriptively
Make em smell it, make em see it, that's a spell in wizard speak
Flow so hot the mic like a rock where the lizards be
Coach said when you drive never do it timidly
So when i step in the paint i hit em sacrificially
Broke my knee viciously my leg is where incisions be
It became a blessing thought it was a curse initially
But i'm back on my feet, lazarus let the risen speak
My guardian angel left she said she couldn't really live me
Mind full of cold thoughts my brain is where the blizzard be
Most these people signed due to trust fund proximity
My dollar store clothes new faucet no drip in me
But i still walk like a million bucks invincibly
Rest in peace to dmx not slipping though it's slippery
Storyteller genius damien was the epitome
If nothing else a student of the craft please consider me
I didn't know bach, juice crew was my symphony
Ace, g rap, craig, and kane were divinity
2pac, 3k and thought are my trinity
I memorized all of respiration like liturgy
I see the devil moving sideways bishoply
Trying to take my juice, my castle crush magnificently
Look for the shrub and you'll find where the river be
If i saw the bird i would've saw the snake that bitten me
The venom made me more sick i spit that poison trickery
Put your system in a down hazmat flow toxicity
Read federici learn the truth about witchery
I read edward said so i know my history
Isa in the rubble cuz they bombed the nativity
Give the land back no colonial victory
My pen's a lightning bolt i write electricity
Art can raise the hair on your neck visibly
Lost in the desert of the real please deliver me
Thoughts the speed of light i rap in special relativity
I went back in time and saw the little me
Listening to soundbombing, each song was an epiphany

Time was a rock band from Yugoslavia that made a significant impact on the music scene in the 1970s. Formed in 1971 by Dado Topić, who had previously been a member of Korni Grupa, the band quickly gained a following with their unique blend of progressive rock and jazz influences.

The original lineup of Time included Dado Topić on vocals, Tihomir “Pop” Asanović on organ, Vedran Božić on guitar, Mario Mavrin on bass, Ratko Divjak on drums, and Brane Lambert Živković on piano and flute. Over the years, the lineup changed frequently, but the core members remained dedicated to creating innovative and captivating music.

Time released three albums during their time together, each showcasing their musical versatility and talent. Their first album featured a prominent Hammond organ, piano, and flute, while their second album had a harder sound with several ballads. The third album introduced a jazz-funk production style, further expanding their musical repertoire.

Some of Time's most popular songs include “Da li znaš da te volim”, “Rock ‘n’ roll u Beogradu”, and “Istina mašina”, which showcased their ability to create memorable and engaging music that resonated with audiences.

After disbanding in late 1977, Dado Topić embarked on a successful solo career, but the legacy of Time continued to live on. In 1998 and 2001, the band reunited for a limited number of live concerts, delighting fans with their timeless music and energetic performances.

Today, Time still plays together as a rock trio, continuing to captivate audiences with their unique sound and enduring musical legacy. Their influence can be heard in the work of many contemporary artists, solidifying their place in the history of Yugoslavian rock music.
